The great thing about all the card challenge blogs out there is that they give you a jumping off place to begin especially when you need one in a hurry.
The Less Is More week 35 challenge helped me greatly this week when I needed to make a 'thinking of you' card. Their challenge this week is to make a clean and simple card where the primary color used is the color of your eyes. Can you guess the color of my eyes???
This card came together quite quickly...SU cardstock, Fiskars patterned paper, Sizzix die cut, Impression Obsession sentiment, and some seam binding dyed with my Copics. IRL, the seam binding ribbon looks a lot less bright and more muted like the card. Perhaps it is my monitor playing games with the color.
Thanks for peeking!

I love the simple layers on this. The paper seems to have texture and gives it even more layers. Such beautiful greens!
I am a huge fan of green and love the diecut leaves against the background paper. A lovely card!
Why am I not surprised that you love green with your green eyes. Great card. I especially like the die cut. Reminds me to use it again
Hugs

Awesome job, gf. The pp looks like letterpress on my screen. Fab card!
It's lovely!
This is one great card....one could think the background is busy along with the die cut leaves but no....you've chosen and placed everything so carefully that it is not overdone and is just perfect - and those greens.....are you SURE you haven't a bit of Irish blood in you? (I'm from Northern Ireland LOL!!)
Great card, die cut is perfect for the paper.
